This position oversees the building support team for approximately 15 facilities, including the NIST Boulder Central Utility Plant, by managing maintenance operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Additionally, as a Contracting Officer's Representative, the role includes developing procurement packages and managing contracts for maintenance services while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Duties
In this role, you will oversee and manage all tasks assigned to the building support team across approximately 15 buildings in Boulder, CO, Ft. Collins, CO, and Kauai, HI, including the NIST Boulder Central Utility Plant that supplies steam, chilled water, and laboratory compressed air.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level (ZA-II at NIST).
Specialized experience is defined as:
- Experience in supervising and conducting administrative and facilities support activities, including overseeing construction management, assigning duties to subordinates, managing maintenance operations, and handling contract and project management.
- Experience coordinating with customers regarding maintenance-related activities and repairs.
AND
In addition to the specialized experience above, applicants must possess a valid state driver's license.
