Duties
You will utilize HR Onboarding System (OS) by entering associated information into the OS for new employees.
You will extend tentative job offers and coordinates with all responsible personnel to ensure pre-employment requirements are met.
You will use multiple sources of regulations, publications, and guidance material to obtain information and pertinent data to be used.
You will use considerable independent judgement while selecting the best source to retrieve pertinent information and to make recommendations based on the application of established guidance.
You will track and follows up on a variety of pay issues and non-pay issues (i.e., service computation date corrections, payroll issues, CAC delays, etc.).
You will create, copies, edits, stores, retrieves and prints a variety of standardized correspondence, reports and documents using office automation functions and related equipment.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position ma y require travel from norma l duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing requirements and processing personnel actions in accordance with regulations, facilitating new employee onboarding/hiring process, entering and retrieving data utilizing human resources information systems such as DCPDS, USA Staffing, TWMS or similar systems, supporting the position classification process in making minor edits to position descriptions, or performing electronic recordkeeping of staffing/classification documents.
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing recruitment and placement duties to include screening applicants for qualifications; performing administrative duties to include creating, copying, editing, storing, and filing memos, letters, and documentation; and tracking the process of recruitment personnel actions electronically.
