This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
This is a developmental position being filled at the GS-06, or 07 Levels. The full performance GS-07 level of this position entails the following duties:
Investigate record discrepancies resulting from receipt shortages, overages, or damages.
Reconcile supply materials received utilizing automated tracking system.
Compile data in different databases to assure consistency and accuracy.
Review and analyze records for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require overtime work.
- This position requires incumbent to work under adverse environmental conditions.
- This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
- This position is a Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
Qualifications
The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position will serve as a Supply Technician using a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies to perform program reviews, status reports, and customer needs located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC.

GS-06 Level Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include
Apply supply regulations, policies, and procedures;
Receive, store, issue, and shipping supplies;
Utilize data entry procedures; and
Retrieve information in automated systems for reports.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
GS-7 Level Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include
Interpret and apply supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions;
Research files or databases to identify problem areas to correct inventory issues;
Reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and
Compile supply data information to provide material pricing.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement GS-06: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade GS-05 (or equivalent).
