You will serve as a LEAD QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST of NMCPAC CWD DET LEMOORE.
Duties
You will provide quality assurance support for receipt, issue, and on/off-station shipment of all ordnance items.
You will provide quality assurance (QA) services insuring that assigned programs adhere to established ordnance QA policy.
You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team.
You will serve as coach, facilitator and/negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and building activities.
You will research, learn, and apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Explosives certification.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting quality assurance audits, evaluations, or surveillance of ordnance programs or processes to identify discrepancies or errors and recommend corrective action. Experience demonstrates a practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, inspection, production, or related areas.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
