This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Service Operations Division. As a IT Specialist (IT Integrator), your primary responsibility is to manage support for one or more business line customers of IT services.
Duties
As a IT Specialist (IT Integrator), you will:
Provide expert level advice, guidance, and customer support on mission-critical issues, initiatives, and agency policies and planning.
Routinely brief executives, directors, and other senior level management within the bureau, Federal Reserve Banks, and other bureau stakeholders on various business-related issues, upcoming events, and initiatives impacting the business areas operational effectiveness.
Serve as the primary escalation point of contact for the business issues and concerns as they relate to technology support and represents ISS involving stakeholders, vendors, and service providers. Serve as the subject matter expert on projects involving multiple IT disciplines by assisting with development of projects that require planning for the design, testing, evaluation, pilots, and documentation of IT systems.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Support mission critical IT issues, initiatives, or policy and planning by providing customer support and guidance to business areas; AND
- Provide advice or recommendations to resolve infrastructure or software issues related to business applications; AND
- Serve as a liaison between business areas and IT to ensure the customers IT requirements are met.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
