You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Contracting and Logistics Management Directorate of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.

Duties

You will provide advice, strategic focus, and performing independent responsibilities for planning, coordination, and management of property administration. You will operate a warehouse that supplies, issues and ships Government Property to military, civilian and contractors. You will oversee the coordination, receipt and acceptance of information technology (IT) equipment. You will conduct inventory of accountable IT property. You will control property accountability records for Capital Minor, Pilferable, and Classified equipment on hand receipts to activities on the installation. You will monitor the amount and type of IT Property and operate various functions of asset control related to IT Property.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
