You will serve as a PROCUREMENT SYSTEMS ANALYST in the ACQUISITION DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.

Duties

You will analyze and evaluate contract data. You will serve as the subject matter expert for all contract- related issues. You will advise superiors of potential problems. You will assist in analyzing procurement data to write justification to support contract decisions. You will coordinate system upgrades and improvements throughout Federal applicants. You will prepare written guidelines, department regulations, reports and decisions; to present sensitive recommendations to higher authority. You will interpret contracting and acquisition laws, regulations, and guidelines, to ensure compliance. You will serve on interdepartmental or interagency contracting policy task group, and provice

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Knowledge of Contracting systems, such as SPS, eContracts, and PIEE; 2). Ability to run reports, analyze data, and identify and resolve noted discrepancies; 3). Ability to write instructions and training materials and present them to the end users; and 4) Serve as an acquisition database system subject matter expert. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.
