Duties
This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Philadelphia Field Division, Pittsburgh II FO, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
To qualify for a GS-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience is:
Providing accurate information and guidance regarding procedures (i.e. arrest and processing; arrest principles); and handling of evidence and dangerous material;
Applying relevant laws, regulations and policies to investigative resources and techniques (i.e. ATF Giglio Policy);
Providing leadership to others such as workgroups, teams or special projects;
Communicating orally and in writing (i.e. reports and briefings); and
Negotiating and collaborating with others (i.e. interacting with other law enforcement agency (state, local or federal)
