You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Undersea Special Mission Systems of PEO SSN.
Duties
You will serve as the Deputy Program Managers Representative for the US Submarine Rescue Assets.
You will lead the staff that reports to the Program Managers Representative.
You will be the senior lead ensuring liaison work with the program office, contractor, fleet, and planning yard is properly coordinated.
You will provide contractor oversight for maintenance and operations, as well as assist the fleet with operations.
You will provide input to develop budgets and cost estimation policies, procedures and practices.
You will provide advice and technical guidance to senior level management.
You will resolve critical problems using innovative and resource effective solutions that take into account cost, schedule and performance.
You will analyze and provide feedback on the effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle.
You will implement methods and procedures to measure program results and effectiveness.
You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees.
You will set priorities, prepare schedules for work completion, and ensure the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.
You will evaluate employee performance and recommend appropriate incentives, or initiate corrective actions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the analysis, research studies, or review of program operations, processes, or functions (e.g. problem resolution, improvement initiatives, strategic planning, workforce performance, cost estimation, budget planning, development and execution, contracting, resource allocation, risk assessments, or scheduling) to ensure compliance with established project requirements for the design, development, modernization, maintenance, or construction of naval submarines.
