You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Materials Management Department of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA in Keyport, WA. This position is equivalent to the GS-11/12 level.
Duties
You will provide warehouse management, inventory management, supply management, and analytical program support to the Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport
You will be assisting senior level employees and supervisors to initiate, develop, schedule, implement, and monitor options to solve problems in materials management.
You will manage inventory through Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to ensure production operation requirements are
met.
You will recommend ways to resolve material support programs.
You will perform audits on Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions.
You will coordinate and track actions required as a result of internal/external audits.
You will compile, analyze, and evaluate various supply operational statistics, including performance metrics per the Statement of Work.
You will participate in the planning, management, and control of materials staged and stored in warehouse facilities.
You will assure stowage and warehouse design/layout to meet specific material requirements.
You will recommend policy and/or procedural changes for improved supply effectiveness and responsiveness.
You will serve on Explosives Qualification/Certification Board as team lead during explosive handling and loading evolutions.
You will perform routine supervisory duties such as hiring, disciplinary actions, performance management, time keeping, leave approval etc.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-9/10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing warehouse management procedures or administrative duties for an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M., if related to this position being filled.
