You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Warehouse Operations, Material Readiness Department of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) in Ford Island, Hawaii.
Duties
You will coordinate with supervisor, leader, or higher-graded employee to fulfill stock requirements.
You will ensure proper documentation is released to shops in a timely manner. providing detailed technical advice and assistance in areas of specialized material management.
You will perform research for special projects and reports.
You will stock and retrieve items from shelves, cabinets, and HAZMAT lockers.
You will contact customers and other supply organizations, transportation services and vendors to obtain material, status information, and to expedite delivery of critical material to the customer.
You will receive, review, and monitor incoming and outgoing Heavyweight Torpedo Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) requisitions and take appropriate action to ensure completion.
You will determine corrective action necessary to properly record a material receipt and/or issue in any of the following applicable supply databases, not all inclusive:
- Industrial Logistics Support Management Information System (ILSMIS)
- Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)
- Regional Hazardous Inventory Control System (RHICS)
- eRetrograde Management System (ERMS)
- NAVSEA Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP)
- Supply Management System (SMS)
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-02 pay band (GS-5/6 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing warehouse operation tasks to ensure supply functions are accomplished within policies, directives, and procedures. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include demonstrated knowledge in basic warehouse and supply functions; understanding of part number, NIIN, and NSN designations; ability to be trained in the use of material handling equipment (MHE).
