This position is located in the Logistics Services Division, Integrated Support Services Directorate, Chief Operating Officer. The position description number for this position is 460336. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent of this position will work a flextime work schedule. This is a supervisory, non-bargaining unit position.

Duties

Supervises employees performing work at the GS-12 and WG-8 levels and below. Provides the administrative and technical oversight necessary for accomplishing the work of the Asset Control Team and Transportation Services Unit. Sets strategic goals and ensures alignment with organization objectives.

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to supervise and lead a diverse workforce.** Ability to provide vehicle fleet management and oversight.** Ability to provide asset control management.** Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop solutions using analytical methods to improve programs and processes. Ability to communicate in writing. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
