About the Position: This position is located at the Directorate of Industrial Operations, Theater Missile Systems Division, Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Duties
Instruct employees on proper electronics work methods.
Repair assemblies and sub-assemblies using electronics theory.
Perform function tests on electronic components.
Repair electronic systems using hand and power tools.
Interpret diagrams of electrical components to determine method of repair.
Isolate malfunctions of equipment using complex test equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Must undergo pre-employment and annual physicals.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must be willing to travel (TDY) up to 5% of the time.

PHYSICAL EFFORT- Requires moderate physical effort to lift and carry items weighing approximately 40 pounds. Required to stoop, bend, and stand for prolonged periods and some assignments require climbing 20 to 50 foot heights.
WORKING CONDITIONS- Works in well lighted, heated, and ventilated shop areas or at missile site and is occasionally subject to inclement weather. Subject to cuts, bruises, burns and shock caused by high voltage energy and soldering irons.
