You will serve as a Paralegal Specialist in the ???????Region Legal Service Office of REGION LEGAL SERVICE OFC MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will provide litigation support, legal research and other assistance to legal assistance attorneys in the areas of civil litigation and crime victims' rights in General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and Circuit Court.
You will assist with the management of the front desk staff in a wide range of issues to ensure competent operation of administrative procedures.
You will develop and maintain internal case management system which provides monitoring of statutory deadlines.
You will assist civilian attorneys in training assigned civilian support staff and legalmen in local law and court procedures, legal research, document preparation, case management and local practice.
You will train new attorneys and support staff in office procedures.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing litigation support, legal research, and other assistance to legal assistance attorneys; (2) Providing technical examination of legal documents and letters prepared by attorneys to ensure correctness; (3) Conducting interviews of clients and witnesses in order to provide information and legal opinion to staff attorneys; and (4) Developing and maintaining case management system.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
