You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the G1 DIVISION of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.
Duties
You will provide guidance, continuity, and program support for the Reserve Program.
You will formulate and revise the Command's Reserve Appropriated Budget Requirements for the coming fiscal year.
You will conduct program reviews/research and provide advisory services on substantive Reserve issues to assess the effectiveness of the program operation.
You will serve as the senior analyst and provide guidance and directions to other personnel assigned to the division.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing the Marine Reserve Program and associated systems and databases to include (MROWS, MOL, MCTFS, MCMPS, etc) AND be able to effectively communicate familiarity with USMC Reserve Orders and policies (i.e. Marine Corps Reserve Administrative Management Manual (MCRAMM).
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing within the Marine Reserve Program and associated systems and databases to include (MROWS, MOL, MCTFS, MCMPS, etc) AND be able to effectively communicate familiarity with USMC Reserve Orders and policies (i.e. Marine Corps Reserve Administrative Management Manual (MCRAMM).

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
