This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), Division of Resources and Management (DRMA). The supervisor is Damaris Marcano. This position is Non-Bargaining Unit (NBU). This position requires minimal travel.
This position IS not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements.
This position IS not subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: 1. Demonstrated ability to assume lead responsibility for a broad range of administrative tasks. 2. Demonstrated ability to identify complex issues and recommend successful approaches for resolution. 3. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing; AND demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with managers, Federal, State, and local government agencies, professional committees, and coworkers.
4. Knowledge or demonstrated ability to learn budgeting principles, performance management, develop and/or manage human capital programs and staffing strategies, and ability to manage business processes. In addition to the basic requirements, to qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. (Example: work efficiently in handling multiple assignments with competing priorities often under considerable pressure to meet deadlines).
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience that demonstrates knowledge of evaluative, planning, and analytical processes and techniques (quantitative and qualitative) for measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical programs. Understanding NRC budget policies, procedures, and practices. Understanding of administrative, human resource management, and information technology activities.
