Salary: $ $51,110.00 (Step 01) to $ $65,445.00 (Step 10)
COLA: Hawaii - The selectee will be entitled to a cost-of-living allowance of 8.90% in addition to the basic salary.
NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST GS-0343-07 within the PACIFIC ISLAND ECOSYSTEM RESEARCH CENTER, some of your specific duties will include:
Qualifications
For GS-07: Applicants must meet one of the following to qualify for the GS-07 level:
Possess one year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the Federal service.
Examples of GS-5 level work include analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions regarding programs and functions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively orally and in writing.
**OR** applicants may substitute successful completion of one full year of graduate level education which provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a Management Analyst.
