You will serve as the Team Lead for NCR’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program. The Team Lead communicates assignments and deadlines to the team and is responsible for assisting in developing policy and procedures for implementing a model EEO program that complies with established Departmental policies, Federal EEO statutes and regulations, and EEO related Executive Orders. The Team Lead schedules, plans, coordinates, and executes EEO Special Emphasis Programs throughout the year.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience as a subject matter expert working in civil rights EEO program operations, planning, conducting, and completing program support projects affecting equity and administrative management of NHTSA internal program areas and programs administered by the Department of Transportation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Comprehensive knowledge of civil rights laws and extensive knowledge of their application to EEO program operations; and skill in interpreting EEO laws, regulations, guidelines, court decisions, and policies to prepare briefings, recommend solutions to resolve complaints of discrimination.
Skill in providing technical assistance to managers, supervisors and employees on agency equal opportunity programs and practices; applying knowledge of Federal civil rights laws, regulations, management directives, and executive orders in conducting analyses of agency employment practices.
Skill in writing clearly to present complex and controversial issues to a broad audience.
Skill in cultivating a relational work culture that embraces equity, transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
