About the Position: This position serves as an Equal Employment Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. security assistance.
Duties
Extract information from files, documents, reports, publications, recordings or other materials to use in support of Equal Employment Opportunity investigations.
Analyze reasonable accommodation requests.
Advise management officials on their responsibility to provide a successful Equal Employment Opportunity program.
Establish Equal Employment Opportunity program objectives for the organization.
Compile Equal Employment Opportunity complaints and reasonable accommodation data to track the status and timeliness of actions.
Conduct EEO compliance review, staff assistance visit, workforce training, studies or surveys as needed by the command.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position may require Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 15% of the time.
- The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position’s SCW certification level.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing advice on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations; Implementing EEO program requirements in accordance with established laws, regulations, and guidance; and developing training to deliver on topics such as EEO, diversity and inclusion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
