Duties

You will lead systems migration projects; collaborates with programmers, business experts and testers to develop comprehensive migration strategies. You will understand software configuration management process and procedures. You will prepare IT budget and manages IT investments portfolios and establish metrics to measure and evaluate systems performance and total cost of ownership. You will ensure the application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Overtime, to include weekends, may be required periodically.
• This is a bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Effectively develop, implement, and maintain IT systems using the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). In addition to the above listed qualifications, your experience must also reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
