Duties
The successful candidate will perform the full range of duties as the Administrative Support Team Leader.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG/GS-07 for the GG-08 and GG/GS-08 for the GG-09) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:1. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Share Point and NRC specific applications used for correspondence development. Thorough knowledge of NRC specific software and applications used for time and labor reporting, publishing public meeting notices, overseeing the public document room, preparing official travel, training coordination, and performance management.2. Demonstrated knowledge of the NRC inspection manual, agency guidance, Management Directive 3.57, and local instructions, necessary for proper correspondence management. When provided templates or samples, demonstrated ability to independently compose simple letters and memoranda. Thorough knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and the NRC Editorial Style Guide to independently proofread and edit complex reports and correspondence. 3. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments with competing priorities, often under considerable pressure to meet deadlines. (Describe specific situations that required you to work under stressful or adverse conditions, competing priorities, tight schedules, deadlines, etc.).
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate information, ideas, and advice in a clear, concise and logical manner, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of people within and outside the NRC.
5. Demonstrated ability or potential to provide leadership and effectively utilize human resources.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Knowledge and proficiency in the use of various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Share Point and NRC specific applications used for correspondence development. Ability to learn specific NRC software applications.
