This position is part of the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management - National Energy Technology Laboratory, Department of Energy. As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will work together with the NETL Organization Property Management Office (OPMO) to provide staff guidance on DOE policies and procedures governing personal property management, transportation, and supply management activities.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-12: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting TWO (2) of the following:
Overseeing the utilization and reassignment of Laboratory-owned property and the excess property disposal program.
Assisting in the development and implementation of inventory procedures and techniques.
Preparing annual motor vehicle reports and the Annual Alternative Fuels Vehicle (AFV) plan.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-13: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Serving as a technical expert providing guidance on policies and procedures governing personal property management, transportation, and supply management activities.
Analyzing motor vehicle program for proper acquisition, use, maintenance, and disposal of all vehicles.
Establishing and maintaining responsibility for property accountability in the organization.
Maintaining accountability for all government property.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
