As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Management Services, Employee Development Group (AJG-L320).

Duties

The Program Manager (PM) serves as the Leadership Development Team Manager. The PM directs subordinate staff of project managers, instructional designers, management and program analysts, technical writers, interns, ad hoc teams and/or contractors responsible for designing, developing, delivering and evaluating the national ATO leadership development program. This is a highly customized, realtime leadership development program designed to meet the critical needs of the Air Traffic Organization workforce of today and the future. This work directly impacts the safe and efficient operation of the ATO.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14/15 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:-Experience in using qualitative and quantitative techniques and methods, to develops integrated portfolio of development programs, initiatives and tools/support.AND-Experience applying program and project management principles to manage leadership and development and talent management programs and projects.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
