This vacancy is for an Electrician, WG-2805-10 located in Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Facilities Engineering, Public Works Division, Base Seattle, Seattle, Washington.
Duties

Duties of this position include the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical wiring systems, fixtures, controls and equipment in industrial, institutional, office, and residential building, and on ships. These jobs require knowledge and application of electrical principles, materials, and safety standards
You will serve as an Electrician and be responsible for:

Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:
Ability to perform the work of the position without more than normal supervision. (SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT)
Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
Theory and Instruments (Electrical, Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade Practices
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability to Use Electrical Drawings
Ability to Use and Maintain Hand Tools
Troubleshooting (Electrical)
