Duties
Represents the Task Force 40-25 Headquarters in actions involving current operations, training and readiness.
Resolves conflicts in staff actions and activities as required.
Responsible for the integration of actions and planning tools within the G3 section.
Develops and advises on current operations in support of Task Force planning requirements.
OPSEC planner, participates in the planning of Information Operations (IO), Military Deception (MILDEC), Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyberspace Operations, and Irregular Warfare planning efforts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of occasionally.

Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 position, which includes 1. Serves as a staff action officer with respect to current operations, plans, training and readiness. 2. Optimizes readiness and tracking of current operations through the development and maintenance of systems, processes, and tools. 3. Specialize in Irregular Warfare organizations, missions and its interface with US Army Special Operations Command and other organizations as appropriate. 4. Streamlines Operation Security and Force Protection programs.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
