This position is in the Public Office Division of the Clerk's Office in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. The Deputy Case Administrator processes all newly filed applications for allowance of appeals, petitions for review and special writs of mandamus, habeas corpus, and prohibition. Incumbent also performs duties and assignments independently, with goals and objectives of the office set by the director.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 7: A high school diploma and three (3) years general administrative experience in a high-volume office setting.
Grade 8: A high school diploma and four (4) years of general administrative experience in a high-volume office setting.
Grade 9: A high school diploma, three (3) years of general administrative experience in a high-volume office setting and one (1) with petitions and legal documents.
Education Substitution:
An Associate's degree plus one (1) year of general administrative experience in a high-volume office setting.
A Bachelor's degree.
