You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY BATTALION, AMMUNITION SUPPLY POINT of II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.

Duties

You will manage, coordinate and control the flow of ground ammunition from the initial planning phase through requisition, storage, distribution, issue, utilization and disposal. You will utilize a mechanized and manual ammunition supply accounting systems. You will maintain records and controls over ammunition in stock, due in or planned for the distribution system. You will plan and organize work and manage positions to ensure maximum productivity.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying supply principles, concepts and methodologies and supporting documents/reference materials related to requisitioning, stock level maintenance, inventory control procedures, replenishment of ammunition stock, cataloging, storage and distribution. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
