About the Position: This position is located in the at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Directorate of Resource Managment, Logisitcs, Facility Managment. This position is on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Duties

Serves as a specialist for providing advice and assistance to the staff and managers regarding major procurement and funding matters, and as liaison between the organization and the installation's procurement activity. Represents the organization when contract administration procedures are discussed. Conducts site visits, and identifies and develops performance characteristics essential for future contracts. Evaluates contractor performance on a wide variety of contractual issues and obligations including the timely provision of optimum quality services and ensures that finished products conform to contract specifications

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
• This position may require travel (TDY) up to 25%.
• This position requires screening for required immunizations and for evidence of tuberculosis. Immunizations must be up to date per AR 40-562.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R. .
