Duties

About the position: This position will be assigned to Potomac Lanes. Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering to established standards. Sweeps dusts and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and vanishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Makes minor corrective adjustments in bowling lane machinery as necessary and performs periodic minor preventative maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare part for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems. Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required. Education
