You will serve as a DIRECTOR, COMMANDER'S ACTION GROUP in the Command and Staff (N0) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
Duties
You will serve as the Director of the Commander's Action Group (DCAG) managing and coordinating efforts of the CAG to execute the mission of CNIC.
You will conduct analysis on matters of strategy, strategic impact , or subjects as directed.
You will lead, manage, facilitate, and conduct internal efforts to understand the Command's strategic terrain and design, track, facilitate, and assess key leader engagements.
You will assist the Executive Assistant with managing the organizational health and business operations and institute performance improvements.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of shore planning, programming, and operations; 2) Planning, organizing, directing/leading and conducting studies and assessments with teams comprised of Navy, joint/combined partners and inter-agency representatives; 3) Applying principles and practices of leadership and management of complex organizations and ability to set-priorities, manage work-flow, and resolve conflicts; 4) Using problem-solving and analytical skills in support of strategic planning, execution, and reporting; 5) Investigating, evaluating and negotiating issues and resolving complex problems and issues in Fleet warfighting, readiness, quality of service and manpower; and 6) Giving presentations to senior leadership that convey commander's intent and distill key points related to complex issues.
