About the Position: Represents the Chief of the Force Development Full Dimension Protection Division at meetings which address the resolution of critical system related issues and involves high-level officials from HQDA, DOD, other Government agencies, the Congressional Staff, and the private sector.

Duties

Serves as Synchronization Staff Officer (SSO) for one or more systems ACAT II systems and principal representative for G8, Force Development Directorate in matters to pertaining to that program. Acts as DA proponent for all assigned systems to ensure total systems are fielded that meet Army requirements in accordance with DCS, G3 priorities and system distribution plan. Analyzes and identifies potential for joint programs with other Services and allied nations and makes recommendations for programs.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
