About the Position: Responsible for completing reports, briefings, taskers, and Integrated Facilities System MiniMicro QFSM user support, and to conduct industrial engineering studies for the Directorate of Public Works.

Duties

Conduct industrial engineering and management studies of varying scope pertaining to processes, procedures, policies, regulations, manpower, equipment, materials, work quality, commercial activities program, and shop and facilities layouts. Direct the implementation of approved new or revised procedures, techniques, methods, and systems and take steps to assure understanding and acceptance by all echelons of management and operating personnel. Assist the Integrated Facilities System Management users by evaluating problems and providing technical guidance. Prepare recurring and one-time management reports, briefings, and responses to higher headquarters taskings which may be used at all echelons, including activity, installation, MACOM, DA, and Department of Defense Acts as a SME in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and supporting databases for real property maintenance. Assist GFEBS functional users by evaluating problems and providing technical guidance. Monitor assigned portions of the GFEBS database content and integrity usually related to facility repair requirements and job costing. Perform intensive GFEBS research, transactions analysis and data collection and consolidation

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Appointment is subject to a 1 year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • Incumbent maybe required to attend off post training at the direction of the supervisor.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required to meet critical due dates or during periods of staffing shortfalls.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
