This position is located within the Billings Area Indian Health Service, Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar/Wolf Point, MT. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative management assistance to the Clinical Director and daily clinical oversight to the Clinical Services personnel. This position is open until filled, applications will be reviewed starting on 10/2/2024 and every 10 business days thereafter.

Duties

Coordinate and supervise ancillary-health professional health departments. Develop high performing and innovative health care teams to improve the quality of and access to care. Collaborate with and advise the Chief Executive Officer on facility accreditation maintained through development and monitoring performance improvement activities. Direct efforts of clinical support staff to achieve and maintain accreditation and certifications and other regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Education Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: provide supervisory guidance and leadership to management and work collaboratively to develop and implement internal program plans and procedures incorporating goals and objectives of the departments. Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
