You will serve as a Program Analyst in the MARCORSYSCOM Fusion Cell.
Duties
You will provide general and specific management oversight to less experienced personnel, guiding them on program initiatives to ensure proper implementation and alignment with existing policies.
You will influence resource allocation, recommend major changes to program goals and objectives, and develop, promulgate, and interpret policies and guidance.
You will be responsible for the overall planning, direction, and success of significant programs, acquisitions, and initiatives.
You will provide expert-level independent program assessments that inform major milestone decisions, while offering advice and technical support on interfaces within the Department of Defense acquisition system.
You will represent the command at all levels, initiating, influencing, and shaping policies, concepts, and approaches.
You will analyze, balance, and reconcile program requirements with available resources, and develop and deliver persuasive oral and written presentations to all levels of government and industry management.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses of defense acquisition systems to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes strategies applied to these programs. Managing programs across all phases of the acquisition life cycle and analyzing program cost, schedule, and performance data to provide recommendations for decision makers.
