You will serve as a TRAINING AND READINESS ANALYST in the Readiness Branch of the Fleet Marine Force.
Duties
You will coordinate unit attendance at Training and Readiness conferences and lead preparatory meetings.
You will provide functional input into the development and refinement of systems of record relating to unit training standards.
You will shape the development of ground and aviation unit training programs and policies, and their implementation across the command.
You will refine assigned mission essential tasks and associated training requirements for units deployed and preparing to deploy.
You will provide assistance and site visits to train unit staffs on training management processes and metrics, gather input on required changes, and identify process improvements.
You will represent the command on program requirements and development teams, tests new software systems, and provides organizational recommendations directly to program leads.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing standards to assess and certify organizations which vary in size, composition, and mission. Leading and/or facilitating working groups to develop or refine training and readiness standards.
