Duties

As an Intramural Administrative Officer in the Division of Intramural Research, National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), you will provide administrative expertise utilizing an advanced knowledge of intramural Title 42 policy and procedures with responsibility for providing administrative support for technical and advisory services in financial management, procurement, facility management, travel services, and all other administrative functions. DUTIES: If selected for the position, you may perform the following duties: Coordinate and prepare Title 42 actions including recruitment, compensation, incentives and other related actions. Serve as advisor on all administrative management matters associated with programs and operations. Plan, develop, formulate, prepare, execute, monitor, and/or forecast organizational budgets. Provide administrative support for organizational procurement and contracting by providing, securing and/or negotiating for the resources or services needed to manage and run an organization. Define goals to be met on major program issues, recommend a course of action, and implement the alternative policies chosen for various administrative areas of the organization. The Ideal Applicant NIMHD seeks candidates with appropriate background and experience possessing a strong administrative background in an intramural research environment with demonstrated experience utilizing intramural Title 42 policy and procedures.
