You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the G-1, Marine Forces Reserve (COMMARFORRES) of MARFORRES NOLA.
Duties
You will analyze and advise management on the evaluation and effectiveness of all matters relating to the activation of SMCR Units and Detachments.
You will review completed travel authorizations, ensuring correctness and that all claimed expenses are legitimate and legal.
You will review, edit, and provide recommendations on all/any directives, orders, policies and messages with any impact or information concerning activation and personnel administration requirements.
You will manage the development and implementation of Marine Corps policies and procedures for Military Human Resource management associated with activation, deployment, re-deployment and deactivation of SMCR personnel.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluates and provides military human resources policies, procedures, and interpretation as it relates to mobilization and/or deployment of individual reserve forces, travel, benefits, military pay, personnel administration, etc using Title 10 of United States Codes.
