This position is located in Mojave National Preserve, in the Maintenance Division.

Duties
Exercise a full range of supervisory duties.
Written and verbal communication for project layout and design, construction techniques, hand tool management and repair, carpentry, painting, masonry, equipment operation, and road repair.
Manage, plan, organize, and direct a multi-faceted trails operation utilizing current facility management practices such as analysis, life-cycle costs and choosing by advantage.
Responsible for implementing a safety and training program to eliminate at-risk behaviors and environments to comply with regulatory policies and mandates.
Maintains cost records and prepares annual work budget plans for operations.

Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
Knowledge of materials
Use of measuring instruments
