About the Position: The incumbent will serve as an IT Specialist (INET) at the HQ US ARMY SOUTH, ACS, G6, Joint Coalition Network in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Duties

Serve as the World Wide Web (WWW) site manager (webmaster/developer) responsible for the technical planning, design, development, testing, implementation and management of Internet and Intranet activities. Lead the development and management of a Web site or Web application portal for a regional program that involves privacy, access, and authentication issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with the design and delivery of Internet services. Collect and analyze Internet service usage and performance statistics. Ensure the application of information security and information assurance policies. Serve as the Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Global Administrator and Content Management System (CMS) Administrator. Develop and implement website security procedures and provide user instructions and documentation.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish. Must pass listening, reading, and speaking Spanish exams with a score of 2/2/2.
• Position requires a Security Clearance at the TOP SECRET Level as the incumbent will be required to access, process, use and safeguard classified National Defense information.
• Some TDY travel is required (at least 10%).
• Position subject to provisions of the Drug Free Workplace Program IAW AR 600-85 and DOD Directive 2010.9.
• Obtain (within 6 months) and maintain an IAT-Level II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
