This vacancy is for a WG-3501-5, Trades and Labor Helper located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, TRACEN CAPE MAY STRUCTURES. Duty location will be determined upon selection.
Duties
You will serve as a Trades and Labor Helper and be responsible for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard Training Center, Facilities Engineering Division, Public Works Branch, Cape May, NJ.

Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:
Specialized experience must include the following:
Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (screen out element)
Work Practices (includes keeping things, neat, clean and in order)
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (other than blueprints)
Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
Dexterity and safety
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
