You will serve as a OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Registrar Division, Admission Department of DDHBAP ASIA PACIFIC CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES.
Duties
You will serves as Office Support Assistant (OA) providing administrative and clerical support while performing the full range of administrative duties.
You will provides full range of administrative duties including technical, data entry and procedural support at registrar office.
You will plan and coordinate details between course attendees (Fellows) including the Department of Defense and State, location-island military organizations, foreign consulates, and U.S. embassies
You will serve as File Coordinator for the Registrar Division and the Admissions Department, set up, provides advice and assistance to ensure file system is maintained in accordance with applicable guidance and signature.
You will develop and monitor office procedures and responds to administrative requests/correspondence.
You will consolidate and maintain training requirements for Registrar Division and Admissions Department, as well as prepares and tracks proper documentation.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) certification.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative or clerical support by utilizing office automation systems to prepare official correspondence; procuring office supplies or equipment; arranging travel using an automated travel system; and extracting data from an automated source to prepare reports.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
You have successfully completed one full year of graduate education that is directly related to the position;
OR
You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements if the applicant can provide documentation indicating that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
