Salary: $97 079 - 126 198 per year

You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Recruit Training Command (RTC) of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND.

Duties

You will evaluate a staffing plan to determine employee placement or future forecast manning levels. You will brief senior leaders on resource requirements analysis. You will inform managers on opportunities for personnel training. You will advise senior leaders on impact of changes to administrative programs. You will develop office procedures to improve administrative operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing direction and guidance to support staff on procedural matters such as the proper preparation of written material and reviews work products; 2) Providing administrative support to include preparing reports, interpreting regulations/directives/policies, and composing correspondence; 3) Communicating both orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner to individuals or groups at all levels of the chain of command; 4) Directing a number of concurrent tasks, setting project priorities, milestones for work accomplishment and coordinating completion within required deadlines and customer specifications.
