You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT SUPERVISOR in the ???????PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will use automated systems to perform monthly billing for tenants receiving goods or services through the Transportation and Base Operating Services Contract (BOSC). You will monitor financial reports to interface with activities and address funding issues. You will review received job order numbers (JONs) referenced in funding documents to confirm adequate funding is available for all monthly billing. You will negotiate with customers to resolve problems. You will collect and maintain data (e.g., workload, backlog, equipment availability) to analyze the data and prepare reports.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Utilizing the Command's automated management system for cradle to grave work inputting and monitoring for assigned tracking, scheduling, and accounting. Responsible tracking estimates and expenditures and implementing controls necessary to keep budget execution in line. Manages BSVE customer job order numbers (JONs) and provides oversight for BSVE overhead JONs. The incumbent manages customer funding for the transportation division. Responsible for securing funding before forwarding work for execution; 2) Overseeing submission and tracking of purchase requisitions for material and services in support of the transportation division, acts as the point of contact with fleet logistics center when concerns arise with purchasing; 3) Managing 30K Tensile Test Tower operations in support of Periodic Weight Testing of Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE) and slings for NAVFAC, land installations and the Fleet. Working with the Transportation Branch Supervisor, develops quotes, accepts workload, schedules work for execution, tracks work and provides status and investigates customer complaints. Reviews and maintains a database of shop travelers and procedures, assuring proper safety and workmanship standards are included as required by the work authorizing document; 4) Monitoring training, testing and licensing of all Public Works mobile equipment operators. Works in conjunction with Transportation licensing and training coordinator to verify licensing renewal and scheduling training requirements and medical/physical exams; 5 Coordinating tests of all WHE. Establishes a testing program utilizing the WHE program managers of NAVFAC MIDLANT, sequencing the test loads to ensure that all mechanical, electrical and structural assemblies, subassemblies and components are functional and operational.
