Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security; within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Trade.

Duties

As Executive Director for Mission Support, in the Office of Trade (OT), you will lead three administrative Divisions in OT, including the Financial Management, Human Capital, and Facilities and Asset Management Divisions. The Financial Management Division is responsible for the development, control, and oversight of OT's financial resources, and the analysis and oversight of OT operational expenditures, ensuring collaboration with other resource partners in the Office of Human Resources Management and other U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offices to provide comprehensive financial recommendations to OT leadership and stakeholders. The Human Capital Division provides support and customer service to OT in the areas of recruitment, staffing, retention, organizational management, labor and employee relations, training, employee engagement, the National Training Plan, and the Sharpening Trade Expertise Program. The Facilities and Asset Management Division provides real property and space management, personal property inventory, energy and environmental management, and various administrative management services. You will recommend implementation of OT's Mission Support and administrative policies and procedures and ensure consistent and equitable application. You will also direct the development of national and uniform regulatory policies, procedures, and training to ensure accountability and compliance with Federal, Department of Homeland Security, and CBP policies, procedures, and regulations.

Technical Qualifications - Mandatory 6. Knowledge of and ability to manage a variety of complex administrative management programs (e.g., financial management, human capital management, facilities and asset management) for a large organization.
