This position is located at the National Visa Center (CA/VO/DO/NVC) in Portsmouth, NH. NVC is organized within the Office of Domestic Operations, Visa Services Office, Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA/VO/DO). The position serves as a Program Coordinator with responsibility for the planning and coordination of a strong and effective Post Liaison Program.
Duties
Serves as a Government Technical Monitor (GTM) with responsibility for monitoring and overseeing technical performance on assigned aspects of various contracts administered by the office for assigned contracts.
Establishes and oversees a systematic process for facilitating Modernized Immigrant Visa (MIV)-related communication with Consular Officers, leadership, and consular personnel involved in IV processing overseas.
Plans and leads contract staff/conducts program reviews focused specifically on post liaison services or interview scheduling.
Monitors incoming communications from posts and oversees the office's interview scheduling activities on behalf of overseas Embassies and Consulates to ensure that the scheduling process operates smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing, evaluating, and staying abreast of visa processing trends, developments, and policy changes that impact immigrant visa processing.
Experience receiving and reviewing official incoming communications from visa stakeholders.
Experience analyzing, developing and implementing visa policy guidance.
Experience planning and implementing interview schedules.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
