You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the G-4, INSTALLATIONS & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MCRD ERR PI SC.

Duties

You will serve as the Division Lead for planning activities to support organizational development. You will provide employee feedback, monitor and evaluate performance, and recognize and reward performance. You will program, plan, supervise, and coordinate with external agencies to ensure resourcing of the Division and to ensure synchronization with entities. You will make decisions on problems presented by subordinate supervisors to resolve issues and conflicts. You will conduct research to prepare professional papers and briefs for senior leaders.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Advising senior leadership on logistics program operations in support of organizational goals and long-range plans; 2) Planning, coordinating, and evaluating complex, multi-faceted logistics management projects and programs to ensure sustainment of operations; 3) Researching and applying laws, regulations, and guidelines as they relate to organizational logistics and supply management policies; 4) Leading a team in providing logistics management support for multiple functional sections and services.
