The primary purpose of the position is to assist in the maintenance, repair, and stabilization of structures and sites built of stone and mortar.

Duties
The major duties of the position Masonry Worker include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of exterior and interior surfaces and structures of brick, stone and block.
Repair and maintains historic masonry on buildings, parapets, fences, chimneys, walls, etc.
Perform a variety of complex brickwork.
Remove damaged portions of walls or other similar architectural features in preparation for repair or stabilization of historic masonry.

Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Measurement and Layout
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprinting reading)
Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Materials
