Duties
You will function as an electronics Technician and serve as Fleet Service Representative (FSR) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
You will perform tasks involving skillful and diversified application of technical and engineering skills related to state-of-the-art technology for United States Navy Radar and Combat Systems.
You will interpret Technical and Performance Specifications to perform radar system technical assistance.
You will review, analyze, and recommend solutions to critical design problems that will have significant impact.
You will make independent decisions relating to operation, maintenance, modifications, installations and material support of fielded systems.
You willplan work and implement work plans independently.
You will plan, manage, and accomplish complex engineering projects that require the application of a broad knowledge of combat system interfaces and radar development.
You will review failure and reliability data and deficiency reports to identify equipment problems to establish a need for modification.
Requirements

- You must be able to climb ladders, lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and work in Shipboard environments and government field locations.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03(GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating technical electronics methods, techniques, procedures, or policies on the modifications, validity, test procedures and data of new or modified radar and combat systems for surface ships.
