You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT JACKSONV.
Duties
You will use Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) to prepare documents.
You will coordinate phone calls and visitors to appropriate personnel or other offices.
You will review and verify documentation prepared by others concerning procedural requirements for government travel.
You will determine specific action to take to correct discrepancies, errors, or problems following instructions and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing administrative work in an office environment; 2) Utilizing office automation software to format documents and data; and 3) Maintaining and updating files based on policies and directives.
