CECOM G8, is responsible for the planning, managing and execution of resources associated with achievement of the Command's mission. The Special Projects and Operations Office is responsible for providing a range of human resources and operations support to support the CECOM G8 mission.
About the Position: As a Supervisory Program Analyst, this position is responsible for providing supervision and oversight over the Special Projects and Operations Office.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of human resources, human capital and Career Program Management support actions for the CECOM G8 Office, including training and developmental programs, Acquisition Workforce and Financial Management workforce.
Oversee training and certification requirements and compliance for the CECOM G8 workforce, to include Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce (ALTWF), DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification, and annual mandatory training requirements.
Advise managers on employee Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to meet certification and continuing development requirements.
Advise on long-term training and professional development opportunities for the G8.
Oversee the execution of operations support activities for the CECOM G8 Office, to include property management, Continuity of Operations planning, facility/space assignment, safety, security and access control.
Promotes equal treatment of all subordinates in all areas of work and personnel management, including selections, assignments, training opportunities, disciplinary action, awards and recognition.
Assign work and establishes priorities for team completion of work.
Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance, or access, for duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade or pay band the Federal service which includes 1) Oversee human resources, human capital, training and recruitment and retention actions for an organization; and 2) Organizes work, sets priorities, determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them, monitors progress and keeps Leadership apprised of status; (3) Coordinates with other organizations and personnel to develop and deliver quality work products; and 4) Prepare and review all internal policies and practices within the organization to ensure adherence to HHQ policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13).
This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-15 grade step 10 in the broadband. This position is subject to organizational compensation limits as identified in the organization's business rules. Control points account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. This position is subject to the NH04 supervisory Director/Deputy Director/Division Chief/Branch Chief control point, equivalent to a GS-15, step 6. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
